Miniscule! And a bit of life

Tired of photos? I hope not, because I think I am hopelessly addicted to photographing. I love these lenses I borrowed from my brother and cannot stop shooting. YAY!
This time I tested the macro 60 mm lense. Here are a few images I shot. I used feathers, water drops (dyed with red & white paint), glitter, shiny paper and different lightings.
I don't really know what else to write about these days. My life is a little boring. I just go to work (well, rehabilitive work) and walk a lot, try to eat healthy, take photos, bike, see friends, read books and watch movies. And that's all. I haven't dated in 1,5 years, all the men in my life are just friends. XD

I've made a lot of great friends during this year. And travelled a bit. And it's been a great year. I've lost 27 kg/60 lbs so far, and it kind of makes me feel really different.

I'm much more confident... But I'm still a bit lost on where I want to go, what I want to be, what I want. I don't know. I just want to be happy. And not alone. Maybe one day meet someone. Maybe. Or then just enjoy life by myself and my friends. I don't know anything anymore.

Fanfest Helsinki

(Sorry, two posts in one day, it's been so busy I haven't had time to update before this. ^^;) First Fanfest con in Helsinki. We set out by train in the morning with my friend Ktiraam. =D
Train station. Our train is the Z! :D
And we're pretty early, as always. =D
More trains. It was a busy morning at the station.
Our train.
Helsinki railwaystation. "Slightly" bigger than in Lahti. XD
Oh it's good to be in Helsinki again!
The Swedish theatre and the Aleksis Kivi (an author/poet) statue.
Aleksis is a hindu? =O
Cityscape.
Pretty ship!
More cityscape!
Ktiraam and the Tardis
(I might have done a little photoshopping with this image and the Tardis. =3)
Me and the Tardis. Hihihi. XD
Yayyyyy1
Tattadataaaa!
Woah, what a gorgeous suit!

Testing out new lenses

I went photographing this Thursday (3rd October), I've borrowed a Canon 100-400 mm & a macro 50 mm lenses from my brother and while my friend Ravemaz tested the 100-400 mm, I got to borrow his Samyang fisheye lense. What a brilliant photo day & night! =D
My own 18-200 mm, starting the photo route. We walked past the
fire-apartment.
At the lakeside at Möysä. The first test pictures with the fisheye. XD
And more! XDD
This is what things look with the fisheye. It's just so much fun!
At a hillside, photographing cars, views and trains.
The photographers. =D
Möysä. I used to go to an art school at that building when I was little. =)
At a crossroad. =3
The sun. I love it how the leaves look in this.
After a short break we grabbed our bikes and biked to the Radiomäki (Radiohill)
to photo more. I am once again using my 18-200 mm lense.
The trainstation & Laune.
And this is why it's called radiohill. The HUGE radio masts, two of
them stand on the hill. =)
More trains and views. =)

There were tons of plains flying over the hill, in this you can see two. =D
The radio mast top.
Ruska at sunset, preeetty!

Children of Bodom

I was in a Children of Bodom concert last weekend. It was a great show, we got to hear a lot of old favourites, it was very nostalgic. It's been over 10 years since I last saw the band play in Tuska festival.

I don't actually listen much metal anymore, so it was a change for me too. These days my favourite bands include Poets of the fall, yanni and tons of pop and soft metal bands. Not much rock either. But back to the concert:
I saw a friend of mine who went to the same school and we talked for a while, it was really fun to see her, it's been a long time. And I saw a few co-workers and hung out with them. And then the music started. It was great, I really got into the concert mood and enjoyed myself. Sixpounder was my favourite, I saw singing along and dancing when they played it. =D

Aaaand before the concert I had a little photoshoot, because I got to dress up and do my hair and make-up and stuff. And I like how the photos turned out, so here are a few samples:
Yarrr. Metal me. =3
I took these with a wired remote control for my camera
that I bought for the HDR photo sessions. But it works
this way too. Though it looks a bit funny in my hand in
the photos. =P
Smiiile. =D
And the band! YAYYY!

New arts!

Been a long while since I did any real art, but this month I've been productive! I'm painting my third traditional painting in a month! Here are the previous ones:
a painting for an art show at work.
The original size is 65 x 80 cm.
Acrylics on canvas.
The second painting on it's place. ^_^
my firespirit Yvain. Water-soluble coloured pencils,
black indian ink & markers. A3 size.
And a close-up to the Yvain painting.
It has a lot of details I spent hours painting.
And some fun paint smudges when the markers
suddenly started to bleed all over when I
applied the water after the coloured pencils.
Such fun! X3
Other than that: Well, autumn is here. I am still loving every summery day there is and waiting for the dark and cold with fear. But ruska will be nice. And I'm gonna photograph like crazy when it starts. Until then, drawing will do. ;P

Sunny Naantali

It's almost autumn. Woah this summer went fast. Way too fast. ;_; Summers are too short. But here are a few summer'y photos still. From my trip to Naantali and Rymättylä to visit my aunt and cousins.
The harbour.
Naantali old town. This little store was so cute. ("Naantali old shop")
The presidential summer home. =D
They were shooting a movie at the central of Naantali.
Sometimes it's just so hard to stand. XDD
View to the town from a hill.
Mom on the hill. =D
Me at "Rakkaudenpolku" (eng: Lovetrail)
Naantali medieval church.
The Mill near my aunts house.
Some fields next to my aunts house. The ocean is just behind that little hill.
And then the swans appeared!

More of the harbor.

Me being veryveryveryvery happy! =D
Whee!
Moon, or trying to take photos of the moon. =3
Me all dolled up to go to my cousins graduation party. ^_^
