Helsinki Gay Pride 2013

It's that time of the year again. =)
Me and my friends once again travelled to Helsinki to take part in the Gay parade. ♥ And it was another wonderful day! It promised rain for the whole day, it it did not rain once! And nothing bad happened either (last year people got egged (me too) and a few years back there was a gas attack). It was all safe, fun and wonderful.

Here are a few pictures. I took about 300 pics, but don't want to show them all, because my friends are in them and I don't know if they want to show them online. But here's a glimpse:

We were at the starting point, waiting to move, when NYAN NYAN
walked past us. XD

And then we were moving. There were 9000 people taking part and double
that watching the parade. ^__^
... would have been more, if it wouldn't have been promising rain, gah!

Our "group", the flag says "Of course from Lahti" or something
like that. It's a bit difficult to translate fluently. Maybe more like
"Made in Lahti and proud of it"... hmm, I dunno. XD
But anyways, the point: we're from a town called Lahti. =P

They gave away those stickers for free (that I have on my boobs),
those two say: "Perv" & "Puma"... like cougar, but we call them... us
(haha) puma. X3

During this fun and laughter and loveliness and awesomeness, there was
a sadder message: Russian human rights are... well, shit. People tried to
have a Pride parade in Russia and were put to jail. It is now illegal to even talk
about gays in russia. This sucks, it has to change!

But what a day it was. Wonderful wonderful wonderful. Once again! It was my sixth Pride
and definitely not last. Next year again! ♥
Now I'm just gonna sleep and do nothing for a long time. So tired. ^^;

Finncon 2012

Finncon is a fantasy/scifi convention held in Finland. This year it was in Tampere. I thought I've grown out of the "confever" until this con. It was a blast, a wonderful weekend!
We talked about it with ktiraam and realized it's animecons we're grown out of. Fantasy and scifi is where our roots are. We've both been fans since we were kids. It was like coming home. ^__^

The weekend was awesome in other ways too: we saw a lot of friends (♥), beautiful places, visited Tampere Gay Pride and went some some panels that made us laugh so much our cheeks were hurting afterwards! XD

Our friends Caratra & Namochan were kind enough to let us stay at their place in Tampere. ^___^ (Thank youuu!). We also adventured around Tampere, went to eat together, went to drink (one drink) together and went to sauna with Caratra, yayy! \^_^/
We bumped into Deirie at Lahti's bus station, travelled in the same bus to Tampere, went to eat chinese and saw a Sherlock Holmes panel together. ^____^
We also met our friends Meablie and Nikomon and went to coffee with them... then managed to lure them to visit the con with us, hihihihi. =D They stood on the line with us, waiting for the "bimbopanel", which was the best entertainment ever! It was also a really fun surprise to see our friend Soikku at the con and briefly say hi to Myunfelia too.
... but yes, photos is a must. ;D

Gay Pride Helsinki 2012

I've been rather slow at writing the blog lately, so I decided to be quick about this post so it's gonna be posted. X3 ... Today has been another good day, I was out walking for almost 2,5 hours, tomorrow I'm going to gym with my friend Penpen. I got a new dress, a mosquito net to my balcony door and some paint to paint a shelf in the kitchen. Been a busy day. And I even cooked... and bought some wine, but since I'm going to gym tomorrow, I'm gonna save it for tomorrow night. =)
