Summer holiday begins!

We had the most wonderful day today at the workplace's cabin. It's really a huge house, about 10 minutes drive away from the central of the city, next to a beautiful lake called Joutjärvi. We gathered there at 9 am and as soon as we arrived to the cabin (got a lift from a coworker) I talked with this guy for a long while. It was so peaceful and beautiful outside.

We soon went swimming with a few friends. They went to sauna and I sunbathed and read a great book. And the the "catboy" started his following again. He followed me around, once asking if he could "put sun lotion on my body". Oh goodness. XDD

We laughed like crazy with the girls, talking about poo and farts. XD Completely nuts and so refreshing to just laugh! And we got great BBQ. And then strawberries and whipped cream. YUM!

A few people got really excited about the book I was reading, they wanted to borrow it (Jo Nesbø's newest: police). It was so much fun!

It was time to go home way too soon! I got a lift from a few friends again and walked a little way home. Took a nap and went for a walk with mom. A childhood friend of mine called while I was on the walk and I soon called her back.

We saw next to my place, went to buy ice-cream and walked into the park. We talked for a long while, lots had been happening. Some really good, some really sad. Then her husband and son came by. The son is almost 3 years old and such a sweetheart. My friend asked him if he still remembered "aunt-Anna" and quietly he said "yes".

Oh, how little things can make you happy. And sad. We went for a walk together and once the son asked me to join him to watch some ducks. ;_; We went to saw my friends family, who were almost like parents to me when I was younger. They helped raise me. It was so good to see them!

I came home after they fed me and I cannot stop crying. I am so happy and so sad. Life is just so strange. How different we turned out. How different life turned out. And what a perfect way to start the summer holiday! Now I'm off to watch more NCIS. And cry. Probably. ^^;

To rise the spirits on this rainy day (at least here it's really rainy, in some parts of Europe it's baking hot... I don't know what it's like elsewhere), I got a few summer'y and sunshin'y photos. =D
These are taken last week from our workplace's (rehabilitive workplace) "cabin". Quite a place, isn't it, woah! ♥

I've had quite a week at work. Monday morning I heard that the huge oil painting I had been painting for the exhibition at work for 1st September, should be done NOW as in on Monday or Tuesday. When I got off work I started to paint like a maniac and got it almost done, I rushed to a print shop and printed out the other work I wanted to show there, a digital painting...
On Tuesday the painting wasn't dry so I said I was gonna bring it tomorrow (Wednesday). On Tuesday we had a cabinday, which was hilariously fun, we laughed so hard at the peer with some coworkers/friends that my cheeks were aching! ^___^

When I had walked back home I got this naughty message from a coworker who had asked me to draw his character. ^^; I felt a little disturbed, because he is a coworker, I kind of feel like it's almost normal to get naughty/kinky messages online, but not from coworkers... so I had to send him a little bit rude note back. =( I hope he didn't get pissed off about it. And I don't know, maybe he had some kind of crush for me, but unfortunately he's not my type at all... not like this one other guy at work who I just *squeal* really like. (he's older, tall, dark haired, really quiet and he has the most amazing ass ever! HAHAHA...) *^_^*  XD

This morning (Wednesday) I had the not so nice realization that the painting was still not dry and had to go to work without it. And had awkward moments with the guy who sent the message. And had to do 2 different work things and saw an old friend who was feeling really gloomy, it wasn't a fun meeting. :S
... I mean, I love to meet friends but not really, if they have absolutely nothing positive to say about anything.

Tomorrow I have to get the painting to work, no matter what. If it's not dry, I just have to get it there wet, which is gonna be really tricky, but hopefully I'll succeed. ^^; Then: one week and the art exhibition, yayyy!

I've been feeling almost giddy! Maybe because there's been so much happening, I've been doing so many things with so many new people and... I have a new crush, so I think I am definitely getting over him... which will be really nice, because missing someone who will never be yours is not fun at all.

I'll be posting pictures of the painting here one of these days and I'll try to get some photos of me with the painting at the exhibition to show how huuuge it is (60 x 80 cm). =D I had some other stuff to write about too, but this is getting way too long so... bye! ;P

Almost a full fledged nerd now. =3

We were in the countryside last weekend, spending our friend Tundradrix's birthday. And it was aaaawesome! The place was sooo cool, I've never been in such a place, it was so... woah! Big and fun and everything! There was a sauna and this huge hall for us to hang in. And four bedrooms, and since there were only 5 of us, there was plenty of room, haha! =D
We had a visit from our two friends who just had a baby, the baby was so cuuuute and so so tiny. ^__^

And then, we started to design roleplaying characters, yayy! We're starting to play next weekend, so so so much fun! =D There will also be drawings, we drew like crazy with Ktiraam, it was so funny, feeling so inspired in a party like that. =D

I've been reallyreallyreally tired this week, I really hope I'm not coming down with a flu or something. Tomorrow is therapy day and after that I'm seeing my cousin who I haven't seen in 3 years! =D

Another trip to the wildness

Firstly; I would like to send a BIG big big thank you for Nathie and Ktiraam for comments in one of the previous entries. You guys have no idea how much I appreciate those comments, they made me feel so much better.^___^ ♥

Then to the issue of this one: Another trip to the Evo Nature reserve area where we spent a night this week. My brothers family rents this wonderful cabin once a summer and they invite the rest of the family for a night to celebrate: sauna, swim & barbecue.

And because I have my new camera, I had to take loads of photos. And because the camera is my brothers old, he advised me a lot about the little things I didn't know I could do with it. Now I need to practice even more, YAY! =D Anyways; there are photos ^_^

The cabin itself. There are 12 sleeping places and 3 big rooms + kitchen inside the cabin.
No electricity, but for winter, there is a big fireplace. =)

And so we relaxed. =D

The sauna was heating up one hour after we had arrived. ^_^

And swimming was total bliss! ♥

After the sauna we moved to the fireplace area to eat.

My stepmom did my hair. It looked soooo wonderful. ^___^

Of course we had drinks with the food. ;D

The fireplace place had a hole in the ceiling, for the smoke to go out,
and as it was so dark inside, it looked wonderful as the light came inside.

DAY TWO

I started the day by running outside, running down the hill and throwing my clothes
to the peer and jumped to the lake. Brrrrr it was so cold but so refreshing and awesome!
That's the best way to start a day! :D

There were so many beautiful waterlily's growing in the water, it looked so decorated, haha! ^_^

Water flea. These guys glided at the shore, it was so pretty to watch. ^_^

There were loads of beautifuuul butterflies that were fluttering
about. This was one of the most beautiful ones. Isn't it pretty ^^

And this one wouldn't leave my feet alone. Every time I went to sit
to a table at the yard, it came and sat on my toes. XD

I want to go to Helsinki. But I don't want to go alone. I want to visit Suomenlinna and just go around the town. That city makes me feel happy. ^_^ Oh well, it's a plan... that I want to fulfill. ;D

Next week we are going to Evo nature reserve area again, to a wonderful cabin next to a pretty lake with a sauna. We're gonna stay the night there and barbecue, sauna and swim, I cannot wait!

The next week, we're gonna visit the Korkeasaari zoo with my dad and all the "kids", meaning my sisters two kids (10 and 12) and my stepsisters daughter (6 months), my sisters are coming too. I am so excited, because I've been waiting for an opportunity to really get to photograph a lot, and here is my chance. YAY! ^_^

And my Viking told me that he might be coming home next week too. ♥

Happy things on their way. Tomorrow I'm planning on biking to the Vesijärvi lake and walking around there, taking photos. If I succeed on that, you will see the result here. Only thing on my way is a thunder that we are expecting to arrive here tomorrow. But if it's gonna pass, I'm gonna bike. ;D

Almost summer

Two days and I get my graduation papers out from school and never have to return there.
Two days from then I am going on a cruise with my mom, Helsinki-Stockholm, I cannot wait. We have reserved the buffet dinners both ways and breakfast too. And I get to go to the huge bookstore Science-fiction bokhandeln in Stockholm.
Two days from the trip I have my graduation party with my family. We just reserved the caked from a bakery and dad is buying all the drinks. It's gonna be fun.

And life is rather busy again. =) Tomorrow I get to see my viking, today I met my new psychiatrist and she was really great and gave me a lot of advices for the summer and getting a job. I am hopeful and feeling positive. ^_^
