New

My new hair! I cut it! Well, had it cut. And I absolutely love it! My self-confidence went up about 100 percent with this new haircut! It feels like I actually have hair! WOAH! :D

Yesterday was one of those days that I will probably never forget. First we went to the beach with mom, sis and her two kids (11 & 13 years old), we had a great time, I took 300 photos. I came home, went to get the new haircut, went to see mom, she took the photos above, went to see dad, he had sparkling wine, we drank two bottles (3 people), I came home, I was really restless.I messaged this guy and we went for a night walk and walked around a lake (Joutjärvi). :D Then sat on the beach, drank beer and talked until it was way too cold, I biked back home after midnight.

Today I started the day by going to the marketplace, soon it's time for a walk, it's so beautiful outside. I feel so happy and energetic! :D
Some photos I took two days ago. I am going to try to learn to really
master my camera during this summer holiday. ^_^

Summer holiday begins!

We had the most wonderful day today at the workplace's cabin. It's really a huge house, about 10 minutes drive away from the central of the city, next to a beautiful lake called Joutjärvi. We gathered there at 9 am and as soon as we arrived to the cabin (got a lift from a coworker) I talked with this guy for a long while. It was so peaceful and beautiful outside.

We soon went swimming with a few friends. They went to sauna and I sunbathed and read a great book. And the the "catboy" started his following again. He followed me around, once asking if he could "put sun lotion on my body". Oh goodness. XDD

We laughed like crazy with the girls, talking about poo and farts. XD Completely nuts and so refreshing to just laugh! And we got great BBQ. And then strawberries and whipped cream. YUM!
A few people got really excited about the book I was reading, they wanted to borrow it (Jo Nesbø's newest: police). It was so much fun!

It was time to go home way too soon! I got a lift from a few friends again and walked a little way home. Took a nap and went for a walk with mom. A childhood friend of mine called while I was on the walk and I soon called her back.

We saw next to my place, went to buy ice-cream and walked into the park. We talked for a long while, lots had been happening. Some really good, some really sad. Then her husband and son came by. The son is almost 3 years old and such a sweetheart. My friend asked him if he still remembered "aunt-Anna" and quietly he said "yes".

Oh, how little things can make you happy. And sad. We went for a walk together and once the son asked me to join him to watch some ducks. ;_; We went to saw my friends family, who were almost like parents to me when I was younger. They helped raise me. It was so good to see them!

I came home after they fed me and I cannot stop crying. I am so happy and so sad. Life is just so strange. How different we turned out. How different life turned out. And what a perfect way to start the summer holiday! Now I'm off to watch more NCIS. And cry. Probably. ^^;

Helsinki Gay Pride 2013

It's that time of the year again. =)
Me and my friends once again travelled to Helsinki to take part in the Gay parade. ♥ And it was another wonderful day! It promised rain for the whole day, it it did not rain once! And nothing bad happened either (last year people got egged (me too) and a few years back there was a gas attack). It was all safe, fun and wonderful.

Here are a few pictures. I took about 300 pics, but don't want to show them all, because my friends are in them and I don't know if they want to show them online. But here's a glimpse:
We were at the starting point, waiting to move, when NYAN NYAN
walked past us. XD
And then we were moving. There were 9000 people taking part and double
that watching the parade. ^__^
... would have been more, if it wouldn't have been promising rain, gah!
Our "group", the flag says "Of course from Lahti" or something
like that. It's a bit difficult to translate fluently. Maybe more like
"Made in Lahti and proud of it"... hmm, I dunno. XD
But anyways, the point: we're from a town called Lahti. =P
Bubble, toes and rainbows. At the Pride park. ^^
People are gathering. More came all the time.
Meee in my Pride dress. :D
They gave away those stickers for free (that I have on my boobs),
those two say: "Perv" & "Puma"... like cougar, but we call them... us
(haha) puma. X3
KYAAH! The minister of sports and culture! ♥
My friend Shuji and her balloon. XD ♥
Me, happyhappy meee. ^_^
During this fun and laughter and loveliness and awesomeness, there was
a sadder message: Russian human rights are... well, shit. People tried to
have a Pride parade in Russia and were put to jail. It is now illegal to even talk
about gays in russia. This sucks, it has to change!

But what a day it was. Wonderful wonderful wonderful. Once again! It was my sixth Pride
and definitely not last. Next year again! ♥
Now I'm just gonna sleep and do nothing for a long time. So tired. ^^;

Desucon 2013 - Lahti

My yearly Desucon report. This time I have fewer pictures, though the con was really fun. I actually didn't feel like even going when the con started, but then it just turned out brilliant. During Saturday I was laughing and smiling and having a good time and the afterparty was absolutely awesome. We got the dance and saw a lot of friends!
And on Sunday we were at the artists alley again with Ktiraam and both sold almost all of our items! WOAH! ♥
This will still probably be our last desucon, because we both love fantasy/scifi so much more than anime and manga. Finncon is our favourite con and that is where we are heading in a few weeks, HURRAA!

Lahti, Finland, Sibeliustalo!
The beginning! The starting seremony. We all got those awesome
glowy sticks for free! It looked so great!
The "forrest hall" of Sibeliustalo. The place where the con
is held. It is absolutely stunning!
A cute mad hatter!
Kili, Thorin & Thranduil, KYAH!
Human!Tardis and Jack!
Dunno who, but they looked fun. X3
Mass Effect cosplay.
More Mass Effect.
A funny pink pantomime guy. He kept jumping next to us for a long time and
made us laugh. XD
Ktiraam in her Woman!Ianto (from Torchwood)
crossplay with her selfmade Jack Harkness blushie and
sonic screwdriver!
And then I kidnapped Jack and the Sonic screwdriver. ;D
More of those weirdly awesome pantomime guys. :D
Absolutely awesome Kenshin cosplay!
Some Full Metal Alchemist! ^_^
Female LOKI!
On our way to the afterparty!
Jumpjumpjump! What a night! ♥
Sunday: Artists alley. I sold out of many of my prints and almost
all of my amigurumis. :D
A few pictures from last night: it was the midsummer night
and Finns like to celebrate. So the beach was FULL of
people. And it just happened to be a gorgeous weather too!
The midsummer bonfire!
And meeee. =3
